Xiros is honoured to have been named IIP Gold Employer of the Year (50-249 employees) at the 2019 Investors In People awards ceremony in London on 19th November. Submissions for the category from the 10 global finalists were analysed by a panel of 18 judges from senior positions across the business world. The award reflects the view that Xiros is a leading organisation in delivering the vision of Investors in People, to Make Work Better. This is something we are extremely proud of, as all our colleagues contribute to the success of the company.
Our submission focussed on what sets us apart from other IIP organisations; how we embed our values in our organisation and our people-plans for the future, and how investing in our people has delivered results. The judges commented that the examples of how our values are put into action at work were considered to be very strong and that our culture of putting people first extended beyond our staff group to the wider community.
The award was accepted by Kate de Juan, HR Director, and Emma Tresnan, HR Business Partner, who said, “We are delighted to accept this award on behalf of Xiros. The award recognises Xiros’ commitment to making work better and to our strong people management practices and excellent leadership demonstrated throughout the company. This is an achievement that all colleagues at Xiros can be proud of.” You can find the shortlisted and winning companies in all of the Investors in People Awards categories on their website at bit.ly/2rbrqu5
