Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Bone Cancer Research Trust

This month Xiros employees Jean and Kat completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Bone Cancer Research Trust. The organised walk saw many take on the challenge together to raise donations for the charity, climbing a total of 5200 ft and walking over 24 miles in under 12 hours.

Taking on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough that form part of the Pennine range, Jean and Kat completed the walk in 11 hours and 30 minutes.

In addition to the walk, Jean and Kat also hosted a cream tea event at Xiros to help raise funds (and provide us with delicious scones!)

We are delighted to announce that Jean and Kat have raised over £670 for such a great cause.

Bone Cancer Research Trust are dedicated to fighting primary bone cancer and making a difference through their research, with the vision of a future where bone cancer is cured. If you would like to donate please visit: www.bcrt.org.uk/get-involved/donate/
