We had a fantastic time at the 2016 Investors in People Awards, held at Old Billingsgate in London on 29th June. With its glittering roaring twenties theme – both for dress code and entertainment – the Awards proved to be a roaring success for Xiros, who came away with two magnificent trophies.
After having been shortlisted earlier in the year for the 2016 Excellence in Reward and Recognition Award for up to 249 employees, we were delighted to be announced on the night as the winner. Dressed in their best 1920s formalwear, Roland Henney and Emma Tresnan accepted the award on behalf of Xiros, which was presented by Maggie Williams, editor of Reward Magazine, and comedian Sally Phillips.
In addition to Excellence in Reward and Recognition, Xiros also received a Long Service Award in recognition of 15 years’ continuous accreditation, having first attained Investors in People accreditation in 2000.
These two outstanding awards come hot on the heels of Xiros’ achievement earlier this year of Investors in People Gold Standard Accreditation, as well as our Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade.
