A Yorkshire design engineer, who spent a sabbatical year as an actor and performed in the West End, has taken up a senior appointment with growing healthcare company Xiros.
Tenor Alex Hogg, got a taste for the stage as a finalist in TV Channel 4 reality show Musicality and went on to appear in a West End show. He has also acted at the West Yorkshire Playhouse and featured in business and music films. He now joins Xiros as a senior design engineer in the firm’s Innovations division.
Alex started his engineering in the rail industry after gaining an Honours Degree at Sheffield Hallam University and previously worked for Leeds-based DePuy International, working on knee instruments and implants.
In his free time Alex now fronts Leeds funk and soul band Moxie and plays lead roles in amateur musical productions.
